twittaholic

Come on, when was the last time you tweeted, you twit!  Get out there, meet some people…”

Huh, can you really “meet” someone over a social networking site?  Well maybe not physically, but I sure have ‘met’ some really wonderful people and fellow authors over the past few months to a year.  So – yes, you can!  But with that said, why is it that these sites have become such an addiction?  Now that I have that wonderful i-phone, now I get giddy when I hear it chime.  “Oooo, someone commented on my comment!!”  or “woo hoo! Someone ‘thumbed up my status!” *shakes head in shame*  Yes… yes, it HAS come to this… so I guess the first step to realizing an addiction is to admit it?  Well, I will admit it and add it to my growing list of things I am addicted to.  You know, maybe I am okay with that.  I’m just not okay with the fact that it takes so much time away from writing.  I really must work on that!
