This month is going to be a busy one for me with various book signings for Christmas and all that jazz. However, what I’m looking forward to the most are the two events that I will be a part of. First is “Authorpaloza,” which will be held November 19th at the Chapters in Old Strathcona (Whyte Avenue) in Edmonton. I have participated in this event last year, but it was known as “Authorganza,” and it is such fun to meet other authors and to chat with readers of all ages. The other event, “Authors Night,” is only three days later, November 22nd, and it will be held at the Multicultural Heritage Center in Stony Plain. If you follow my blog at all, you probably recognized that name. Yup, the “Multi” as it’s lovingly referred to by the locals, is the very place where I held the book launch for both Awakened and the re-launch of Beyond the Threshold of Death. This is another event for readers to meet local authors, listen to them read an excerpt from one of their books and to ask them questions. Even though this type of event makes me nervous (the having to read aloud part), I still love the whole idea of it and I always manage to muster through.
